The first part of the upcoming film “Salar,” starring the renowned Prabhas in the lead role, has reportedly reached completion in terms of its first copy, albeit with an unexpected turn.
Presently, director Prashanth Neel finds himself engrossed in refining this particular aspect, striving to attain the optimal duration for the movie. Reports suggest that the final cut of “Salaar: Chapter 1: Ceasefire” spans over 3 hours and 15 minutes, a length that the director seems dissatisfied with.
The challenge at hand revolves around the task of streamlining the runtime, aiming to strike an equilibrium between narrative depth and viewer engagement. Despite numerous editing attempts, it appears that the filmmaker is grappling with the removal of these additional 15 minutes.
In the current scenario, Prashanth Neel is deeply contemplating this dilemma, deliberating whether to truncate the film to a 2-hour-and-50-minute duration or retain the surplus content.
