The eagerly awaited magnum opus Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Prabhas, has announced a postponement, with a new release date soon to be revealed. This decision has set off a chain reaction in the film industry, leading to several other movies rescheduling their release dates.
One such film taking advantage of Salaar’s delay is Rules Ranjann, featuring Kiran Abbavaram and Neha Sshetty, now hitting theatres on September 28th.
Similarly, Skanda has also moved its release from September 15th to September 28th, citing the same reason. Srikanth Addala’s Peddha Kapu-1 is now slated for release on September 29th. On the other hand, DJ Tillu has been removed entirely from the September calendar.
This shift in release dates has created an opportunity for several small and mid-budget films to find their place in the spotlight. It remains to be seen which of these films will seize the opportunity and find success in this altered landscape.
