Sanju, the biopic on Sanjay Dutt, is ruling the roost at the box-office. The film opened to the record-breaking Opening Day reigning the cash register continuously despite being a weekday. The biopic on the first day at box-office minted Rs 34.75 crore and has raked in Rs 73.35 crore on Day 2.

The film is all set to enter into Rs100 crore club in three days making him the first non-Khan and non-Baahubali film to achieve the feat. Sanju has given Ranbir much needed hit which he waited desperately as his last film failed to get footfalls from the cinema lovers. The film charts the journey of Sanjay Dutt having lots of ups and downs and also the infamous Mumbai blast and spending behind the bars.
Other artistes in the film were Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala and Anushka Sharma.
