Actor Sarath Kumar is a popular face in Kollywood. Acted in over 100 films and almost starred in all South regional languages, the senior star has cemented good position for himself. But there was time when this Kollywood star was reeling under financial crunch. And it was Megastar Chiranjeevi who came to the rescue of Sarath Kumar.
While this is an old incident, it is doing rounds on social media after Sarath Kumar recalled Chiranjeevi’s help while speaking to an online portal. A producer had promised to share the film’s profts to Sarath Kumar if he could get Chiranjeevi on board for a film. When the actor narrated the situtaion to Sye Raa star, the latter agreed and surprisingly didn’t even charge a fee as his remuneration. Recalling about this help of him, Sarath Kumar got emotional.
Chiranjeevi and Sarath Kumar have shared screen-space in just two Telugu films – ‘Stuartpuram Police Station’ and ‘Gang Leader’.
