Nithiin, a popular Telugu actor, is coming up with a new film titled Thammudu, directed by Venu Sriram. Director Venu Sriram, who previously made Vakeel Saab, is not known for commercial entertainers. Though Vakeel Saab was successful, it heavily benefited from Pawan Kalyan’s star power. Thammudu does not have that kind of advantage. From the visuals, it’s clear that this is a different kind of setup, and it’s uncertain how well the audience will connect with it.

Interestingly, Nithiin did not take any remuneration for this movie. If the film becomes a hit, he will share in the profits. Producer Dil Raju is confident about the film’s success. This profit-sharing model could be a good path for mid-range heroes, helping both actors and producers.

After Thammudu, Nithiin is also working with Venu on Ellamma, which is not a commercial film either. His future film with Vikram Kumar also seems like a risky venture. Among these, Thammudu is the only film that has commercial elements. So, Nithiin is placing all his hopes on this movie.

The first half of 2025 brought many big hits in South Indian cinema. Malayalam films like Empuraan and Thudarum, starring Mohanlal, crossed ₹250 crore. OG and Akhanda 2 :

Recently, there has been a lot of buzz about the possible release clash between two big Telugu movies – They Call Him OG starring Pawan Kalyan, and Akhanda 2 starring Balakrishna. However, it now seems that both films may not hit theatres on the same day.

If They Call Him OG releases as planned, it is expected to get a huge number of shows, especially in the Nizam area. In Hyderabad city alone, the film needs around 1500 shows to match the business it has done. Even in the worst-case scenario, OG will need at least 1200 shows in the city. This clearly limits the number of theatres available for other films on the same day.

Because of this, Akhanda 2 may not get more than 400 shows if both films release together. That would be a disadvantage for Balakrishna’s film, as it may not perform well without sufficient theatres and screens.

Apart from this, Akhanda 2 is currently facing delays in post-production work. The film has a lot of computer graphics (CG) and VFX scenes, and much of the work is still pending. Due to this, it is becoming difficult for the team to release the movie on the earlier planned date of September 25. So, chances of the movie arriving on that day are very low.

Considering all these factors, it is likely that the makers of Akhanda 2 will avoid a direct clash with OG. Instead, they may look for another date that gives their film a better chance at the box office.

Fans of both stars are eagerly waiting for the releases, and a gap between the two movies will help both films do well in theatres without affecting each other’s collections.

పవర్‌స్టార్ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ నటిస్తున్న హరి హర వీర మల్లు సినిమా మరోసారి వార్తల్లోకి వచ్చింది. ఈ భారీ పీరియాడికల్ యాక్షన్ మూవీకి సంబంధించిన కొన్ని ఆసక్తికర విషయాలను సహ దర్శకుడు జ్యోతి కృష్ణ ఇటీవల మాచిలీపట్నంలో జరిగిన బీచ్ ఫెస్టివల్‌లో బయటపెట్టారు.

జ్యోతి కృష్ణ మాట్లాడుతూ – ‘‘బ్రిటిషర్లు మన దేశాన్ని ఆక్రమించే ముందు, మొహమ్మద్ సుల్తాన్ అనే రాజు బందరు పోర్ట్ ద్వారా మన దేశానికి గేట్వేలా మారాడు. ఈ పోర్ట్ ఆధారంగా ఒక భారీ సీన్‌ను 17వ శతాబ్దం నేపథ్యంలో తెరకెక్కించాం. ప్రేక్షకులు థియేటర్‌లో చూస్తుంటే గూస్ బంప్స్ వస్తాయి’’ అని అన్నారు.

Why Prabhas Took a Pay Cut for The Raja Saab – Details Inside

Pan-India star Prabhas is now preparing for his next big-screen outing, The Raja Saab, which is scheduled to release on December 5, 2025. This film is a romantic horror-comedy directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory.

Interestingly, reports suggest that Prabhas has reduced his remuneration for this project. Usually known to charge around ₹150 crore per film, the actor is said to have accepted ₹100 crore for The Raja Saab. This decision likely follows the underperformance of his previous film Adipurush, which was also backed by the same production house.

Originally planned for release in April 2025, the movie faced delays due to pending VFX work. After months of wait, fans are now excited as the film gets a new release date in December.

The Raja Saab will be Prabhas’ first film in the horror-comedy genre. The story revolves around a man who tries to take over an ancestral property for financial gain. However, things take a strange turn when he discovers that the property holds dark secrets, making the film an exciting mix of romance, humor, and horror.

Apart from The Raja Saab, Prabhas has multiple films lined up. He will be seen in Spirit, a much-discussed film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He’s also expected to play a cameo in Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa and star in Fauji, a military-themed drama. Sequels like Salaar 2 and Kalki 2 are also in the pipeline.

Pawan Kalyan and Ram Gopal Varma’s Missed Movie Project

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He is busy balancing his political duties and film career. On the 12th of this month, his new movie *Harihara Veeramallu* is releasing. After this, he plans to act in two more movies: *OG* in September and *Ustad Bhagat Singh*. After these films, he is thinking about retiring from the movie industry.

During his busy schedule of back-to-back movies, Pawan Kalyan had a chance to work with famous director Ram Gopal Varma. Varma had a great story idea and wanted Pawan to play a role fighting against injustice. Since Pawan’s real-life image matches this character, Varma insisted only Pawan could do this role.

However, due to Pawan’s busy schedule and other commitments, he could not take up the film. Varma decided to put the project on hold, believing that if Pawan was not involved, no one else could fit the role.

Before this, Varma also started a movie with Pawan and big stars like Urmila and Tabu, produced by Ashwini Dutt. Two songs were even completed. But after Sanjay Dutt’s bail, Varma left the project and moved to Mumbai, leaving the movie incomplete. The exact reasons are known only to them.

Ram Gopal Varma is well known for writing and directing movies that show heroes in strong roles. Many of his students are now successful filmmakers. Despite some controversies in recent times, Varma remains one of the top directors in India.
