Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Kingdom’ Release Delayed Again

Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda’s much-awaited film Kingdom has been postponed once more. Initially scheduled for a summer release, the movie’s release date was shifted to July 4, 2025. However, new developments have pushed it further.

The delay comes after the team decided to reshoot some parts of the film. Director Gowtam Tinnanuri, along with his team, completed the original shoot, but during the final editing phase, they felt that certain portions needed improvement. As a result, the team conducted reshoots to enhance the overall quality of the film.

The runtime of Kingdom was also a concern. To make the movie more engaging, the makers worked on trimming the length. Once a sharper version was prepared, reshoots were done to maintain consistency. Currently, post-production work is still ongoing.

One of the main reasons for the delay is the background score. Music director Anirudh Ravichander has requested additional time to complete his work, as he wants to deliver a powerful soundtrack that suits the intense nature of the film.

With all these pending tasks, the release on July 4 now seems unlikely. Although the team hasn’t officially confirmed the new release date, sources suggest that Kingdom may now hit theatres in August 2025.

Kingdom stars Vijay Deverakonda in the role of a police officer and features Bhagyashree Borse as the female lead. The movie is produced by Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios. The film is expected to be a high-voltage action drama, and fans are eagerly waiting to see Vijay in this dynamic role.

An official announcement regarding the updated release date is expected soon. Until then, fans will have to wait a little longer for this action-packed entertainer.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu not releasing on time again?

There is growing buzz in the Telugu film industry that two highly anticipated films Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan, and Kingdom featuring Vijay Deverakonda might face delays in their scheduled releases.

Originally, Hari Hara Veera Mallu was set to hit theatres on June 12, 2025. However, according to recent reports, the film’s post-production work, especially VFX, is still ongoing. With a significant amount of work pending, the release may now be pushed to July 4, 2025. Although fans are eagerly waiting for the film, there has been no official confirmation yet about the change in date.

The movie is a historical action drama that takes place during the Mughal era. It features Pawan Kalyan as an outlaw, Veera Mallu, who is given the task of stealing the famous Koh-i-Noor diamond. Bobby Deol plays the villain, and the cast also includes Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, and Satyaraj. The film faced multiple delays in the past due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Pawan Kalyan’s political activities. Directed partly by Krish Jagarlamudi and later by AM Jyothi Krishna, it is expected to be the first in a planned film franchise.

Similarly, Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom was initially planned for a May 30, 2025 release. Later, it was postponed to July 4.
