Sukumar agreed of taking inspiration, but not from Ukkupaadam. He said he got inspired from 1979 Rajnikanth and Sridevi starrer ‘Dharm Yuddham’. He said, “I haven’t copied anyone’s ideas for Rangasthalam movie, but have crafted all scenes from my own imagination. For the scenes where the hero saves villain till last moment only to kill him, I got inspired from 1979 Rajnikanth and Sridevi starrer ‘Dharm Yuddham’. I thought of using that characterisation from a long time and used it here in Rangasthalam.”

We have to seen how M. Gandhi responds to Sukumar’s reply. Will he settle for this or will rake up again?
