Plot
Balamurali (Ganesh Bellamkonda) is a very down to earth soft spoke person. He gets engaged to a schoolteacher played by Varsha Bollama. On the wedding day, a massive mistake done by the hero creates a rift in the marriage and separates the couple. What is that mistake and how did Balamurali rectify it is the story.
Performances
Ganesh Bellamkonda is okay for his debut. He looks uncomfortable in the first half but does well in the second. With time, he will learn the art. Varsha Bollama emotes with her eyes and she is terrific. Rao Ramesh and Gokaraju are the real heroes of the film and they have done a solid job in engaging the audience. Naresh and other cast have done well.

Analysis
The film is directed by Lakshman Krishna, and he has done an impressive work as a first-time director. Though he starts the film on a routine note, the core point of surrogacy brings quite a twist in the narrative. The family emotions are simple and to the point.
The manner in which comedy is derived through simple scenes is the best part. The conflict point is told with a pinch of salt, and this makes things very interesting for the audience. There are no dull moments in the film and the crisp runtime also helps matters much.
The songs, camerawork and comedy by Vennela Kishore is very nice. The film has some over the top scenes when it comes to surrogacy, but it is laced well in the family drama that it is hardly an obstacle. Swathi Muthyam is a slice of life film with a unique concept, and it entertains you without any issue.
