Back in 1993, Sridevi was the highest-paid actress in Indian cinema. For the film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, she was paid ₹1 crore, making her the first Indian heroine to get a one-crore salary. At that time, Salman and Shahrukh were new to the industry and were reportedly earning between ₹60 to ₹70 lakhs per film. Even top Telugu star Chiranjeevi was not paid as much as Sridevi for any project during that period.

This shocking fact has recently come into the spotlight again, especially after the Deepika Padukone–Spirit movie controversy. Reports claimed that while actor Prabhas was offered ₹100 crores for the film, Deepika didn’t receive her asked remuneration. Director Bobby Kolli known for the Telugu movie Daaku Maharaaj is reportedly in early talks with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan for a new Hindi film. According to sources, Bobby recently met Hrithik and shared the story idea with him. Hrithik who is known for action-packed roles is said to have liked the concept, though nothing has been officially confirmed yet. The film might be produced by Mythri Movie Makers if everything goes as planned.

Bobby Kolli’s last project Daaku Maharaaj was a commercial success. The film starred Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role as an IES officer who fights against a cruel family controlling a village. The story blends action and social issues and also featured actors like Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and others. Despite mixed reviews from critics, the movie became a box office hit and is now available on Netflix.

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan has a packed schedule. He will next appear in War 2, the sequel to his 2019 blockbuster War. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also stars Jr NTR as the antagonist and Kiara Advani as the female lead. This film is part of the YRF Spy Universe and is set to release on August 14, 2025. It will clash with Coolie, starring Rajinikanth.

Hrithik is also set to direct and act in Krrish 4, marking his debut as a director. If the project with Bobby Kolli moves forward, it will be an exciting collaboration between South and Bollywood cinema.

Allu Arjun especially after the success of Pushpa 2. His fame has grown across the country including in Bollywood. But beyond his acting career, Allu Arjun is also making big moves in business.

Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia met while filming Lust Stories 2. Their chemistry on screen soon turned into a real-life bond.
