Throwback to When Raveena Tandon Said, ‘I Vomited After That Scene’

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, one of the top stars of the 1990s, recently opened up about a surprising incident from her early days in the film industry. In a recent interview, she shared how an accidental on-screen lip-touch during a movie shoot made her feel extremely uncomfortable — so much so that she ended up vomiting.

Raveena started her career in 1991 with the movie Patthar Ke Phool. She became a leading actress with several hit films. However, she always avoided romantic or kissing scenes in her career. “I had made a decision early on not to do kissing scenes or bold scenes,” she said.

Talking about the incident, she explained, “It was a scene where the hero had to handle me roughly. During the shot, his lips accidentally touched mine. It was not planned, and it was not a kiss. But it made me feel very uneasy.”

She continued, “I couldn’t take it lightly. I ran to the washroom and threw up. Then I brushed my teeth and washed my face nearly a hundred times. It was very disturbing for me.”

Raveena clarified that the actor did not have any bad intentions. He even apologized to her after the incident. Still, she found it hard to deal with the situation emotionally.

Interestingly, Raveena also spoke about her daughter Rasha Thadani. She said she would not stop her daughter from doing kissing scenes if the role demands it and if her daughter is comfortable. “Nobody should be forced to do something they don’t like,” she added.

Recently, Raveena played an important role in the blockbuster movie KGF Chapter 2 and impressed fans with her performance.
