Couple of days back, it was announced that Pawan Kalyan’s stylish action movie OG will be released on September 25th, just in time for the Dasara holiday. This festival season usually sees many big films hitting the theaters. Along with OG, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 and Sai Dharam Tej’s Sambarla Yeti Gattu were also planned for release during Dasara. However, Akhanda 2 is now expected to come out later, around Sankranthi, because its work is not yet finished. The makers of Akhanda 2 are not rushing to release the movie during Dasara, so its release date has been postponed. Because OG is coming during Dasara, Sai Dharam Tej’s Sambarla Yeti Gattu will be delayed and released at a later time.

Another notable film, Rishab Shetty’s Kantara 2, is set to release on October 2nd. Besides these movies, there are no other major Telugu films expected to release during the Dasara holidays. This gives OG a clear advantage to attract more audience during this festive season.

There has also been talk about Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambara, which has been delayed multiple times. It was rumored to release during Dasara, but after the announcement of OG, it looks like Vishwambara will not release in September. The new release date for Vishwambara is yet to be confirmed.

Apart from these big films, a few medium-budget movies might come out during Dasara, but nothing has been officially announced yet. So, the upcoming Dasara holiday season looks exciting mainly because of OG’s release, and movie lovers can expect some good entertainment during this festival time.

Famous Telugu film director K. Raghavendra Rao recently shared an interesting story about a dream project that never happened. In an interview, he said that he originally planned his 100th film to be a grand multistarrer with three big Telugu stars—Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna.

Raghavendra Rao has directed many hit films in Telugu cinema. He worked with legendary actors like NTR and Sobhan Babu, and later made blockbuster films with stars like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, and Nagarjuna. He even introduced new talents like Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun.

For his 100th movie, Raghavendra Rao wanted to do something very special. He almost completed the story and even decided on the title “Triveni Sangamam” (which means the meeting of three rivers). Producers Allu Aravind and Ashwini Dutt also agreed to support the film.

The three stars—Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna—agreed to be part of the movie, which was a big deal. But just as everything seemed ready, Ashwini Dutt raised a concern. He said that handling three top heroes in one movie could be difficult. One of them might feel unhappy with the screen time, songs, or scenes. That could cause unnecessary problems.

After thinking about it, Raghavendra Rao agreed with him. He decided to cancel the plan for Triveni Sangamam. Later, he made Gangotri as his 100th movie, which introduced Allu Arjun to the film industry.

A few months ago, the makers released the teaser of the film, which attracted a lot of criticism for its visuals.

At first, viewers assumed the teaser featured poor-quality VFX. However, a surprising clarification has now come from the movie team. In a recent interview, the film’s producer, Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy, shared some interesting insights. He revealed that the visuals in the teaser were not made using regular VFX. Instead, they were created with Artificial Intelligence.

He said, “The teaser visuals were not created with VFX. They were generated using AI tools.” Explaining further, he added, “We gave the footage to VFX companies and asked how many days they needed. The CG companies said it would take three months. But we gave them six months since we planned to release the movie during Sankranthi.”

Unfortunately, the VFX work was still not complete after six months. This delay forced the team to use AI visuals to release the teaser on time. “As the VFX wasn’t ready, we chose AI technology for the teaser visuals,” the producer stated.

After receiving negative feedback for the teaser, the filmmakers decided to avoid using AI for the final film. “Following the backlash, we decided not to use AI anymore. We are now relying only on proper VFX work,” he confirmed.

This announcement has reassured fans of Chiranjeevi, who were disappointed by the teaser visuals. They are now hopeful that the final version of Vishwambhara will feature high-quality graphics.

The movie stars Trisha, Ashika Ranganath, Kunal Kapoor, and others in key roles. MM Keeravani is composing the music for this ambitious project. With the team now focused on VFX, expectations for Vishwambhara have once again started to rise.
