Why Nani muted his secret WhatsApp group with Telugu stars
Popular Telugu actor Nani recently revealed an interesting detail in an interview. He shared that he was once part of a special WhatsApp group that included big Telugu film stars like Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, and Rana Daggubati. This group, which had around 143 members, was very active at one point.
According to Nani, the group was created for fun and friendship. Actors would use it to share jokes, film trailers, and updates. However, the group eventually became inactive. Many members changed their phone numbers or stopped using it, which made the group fade away with time.
Nani admitted that the group had so many messages that it became distracting. He even had to mute the group to focus on his work. Sometimes, he would wake up to over 60 unread messages, and by the next day, there would be even more. Since he wasn’t always active in the chat, he often ignored the messages.
The group was first mentioned by actress Lakshmi Manchu in a different interview. She said it was very special to her and that the members shared a close bond. According to her, the group started with a small number of actors who grew up together, but later, it expanded to include many others in the industry.
While the group is no longer active today, it was once a fun place where Telugu actors connected like regular friends. Nani laughed while remembering how lively it used to be.
The idea of top stars having their own private chat group has surprised and amused many fans. Even though it’s not in use anymore, the group is a reminder of the strong friendships that exist behind the scenes in the Telugu film industry.
