Well, Sundays hold special for Christians as they mass gatherings are held on weekend. As the World Cup finale will be held on Sunday and many would miss it, hence the priest for India’s defeat against New Zealand in the semi-final.
The priest has said, “People approached Me to express concern over the attendance for Sunday’s Prayer Meeting why because ICC World Cup final was slated to happen on the same day (July1 4th). Then, I assured them that there is no need to worry as India won’t reach final. I prayed for the defeat of India and Jesus made it happen. India couldn’t chase a low target of 240 inspite of having a solid batting line-up till 7th position”.
