Is film producer Prasad V. Potluri, popularly referred as PVP, going to lay his hands on popular media channel TV9? If sourced are to be believed, then PVP is in talks with the chairman of the media baron. It is speculated that legal talks are going on and PVP will shell out a whopping Rs700 crore to stake the claim. However, we have to wait for official confirmation.
This is not the first time that TV9 buyout is making headlines. Earlier too PVP’s name surfaced and the value was estimated to be of Rs400 crore. But now it went up to Rs700 crore. Interestingly, in the past 15 years TV9 shot to the value of Rs700 crore. Apart from Telugu, Kannada, it also ventured into other regional languages.
As both the sides are tight-lipped, we just have to wait how things unfold.
