Victory Venkatesh has been doing very few films of late. In last three years, he was just seen in three films. He also changed his story selection and trying to make various kinds of films. This year, he came up with commercial entertainer Babu Bangaram which did an average business at the box-office. This time, he is coming up with a sports drama Guru which will release on January 26, 2017.
Meanwhile, Venky also signed a film with director Kishore Tirumala of Nenu Sailaja fame. Titled as Aadallu Meeku Joharlu, this film had Nithya Menen in the female lead role. According to the latest buzz, the film has been shelved. Apparently, the producers couldn’t allocate the mentioned budget due to demonetization. Some sources revealed that Venky will now move on to another film which will be directed by Puri Jagannath. A film in Venky-Puri combo was on cards since a long time but it seems that it is materializing now.
