Apparently, the character that he is playing is not going smoothly with netizens. He plays the role of Naga Naidu, a weirdo, who serves a jail sentence. And his son Rana Naidu loathes his father for various reasons.
Well, that’s all we got to see in the trailer. The series is hitting Netflix on March 10. Now fans raised objections over the way he looked on the screen. Venky’s hairstyle is a bit odd, they felt. Some comments read that Venkatesh is ruining his reputation as a good actor by accepting such characters.
Is he wiping off his family’s reputation? The question will be answered after the series gets released. Directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma, the show is the official adaptation of the American television series Ray Donovan which came out in 2013.
