After a long hiatus, Anushka Shetty is returning to the silver screen with a romantic comedy entertainer titled ‘Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty.’ The movie, which has been in the making for more than 2 years, is set to release on September 7.
Directed by Mahesh Babu P, the film stars Naveen Polishetty as the male lead. After multiple attempts to secure a theatrical release, the movie is finally hitting the theaters next month. However, there seems to be a lack of buzz surrounding this movie.
Despite the imminent release of the romantic comedy entertainer, there is, unfortunately, little enthusiasm around the film. This can be attributed to the makers’ apparent lack of interest in promoting Anushka Shetty’s comeback project.
The promotional efforts for a film featuring a star heroine should ideally be more robust. The trailer is scheduled for release tomorrow, but the songs released so far have failed to capture the audience’s attention.
UV Creations is giving this movie a pan-Indian release, but apart from Anushka’s fans, very few people seem to be excited about it. Additionally, it’s releasing alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan,’ which could easily overshadow the actress’s long-awaited film.
