10 Telugu Theatrical Releases Set for This Weekend

Sankranthi movies continue to hold the spotlight in theaters. Despite recent attempts with dubbed movies like Captain Miller and a Fighter for Republic Day, they didn’t quite capture the Telugu audience’s attention. Consequently, Sankranti movies are still dominating the theaters, and this week, approximately 10 short films are set to join the lineup.

The upcoming months February and March poses a challenge as bigger and medium-budget films are scheduled for release. Despite this, a unique situation arises this week as all the smaller films are hitting theaters simultaneously. Notably, all these movies, are set to release on same date that is on February 2.

One film that stands out among the upcoming releases is ‘Ambajipeta Marriage Band,’ featuring Suhas and Shivani, directed by Dushyant and produced by GA2 Pictures and Szibba Creations. Suhas, known for delivering quality performances, raises expectations for this movie with a promising trailer and delightful songs.

‘Sohel,’ a familiar face from Bigg Boss, takes on the role of both hero and producer in ‘Bootcut Balaraju,’ with Sunil, Indraja, Avinash, and Meghlekha playing important roles. This film is also slated for release on February 2.

Another intriguing addition to the lineup is ‘Game On,’ directed by Dayanand and produced by Ravi Kasturi, offering a psychological thriller experience. Action and romance take center stage in this film, set to hit theaters on February 2.

‘Dheera,’ directed by Vikrant Srinivas and produced by Padmavathi Chadalavada, is another movie to watch out for on the same day. Additionally, ‘Kismat,’ a comedy thriller featuring Naresh Agastya, Abhinav Gomatham, Vishvadev, and Vasarasla Srinivas, directed by Srinath Badineni, promises entertainment on February 2.

Further diversifying the offerings, ‘Happy Ending,’ directed by Kaushik Bhimidi and produced by Hams Tech Films and Silly Monks Studios, and several smaller films like Mechanic, Chiclets, Urvi, and Shankara are also set to release on February 2, adding variety to the cinematic choices for the audience.
