Tollywood under fire again for indecent dance moves

Tollywood is once again facing criticism for including vulgar dance moves in its songs. The latest controversy surrounds the song Adhi Dha Surprisu from Nithiin’s Robinhood, choreographed by Sekhar Master. Viewers are outraged over a specific dance step featuring Ketika Sharma, where she pulls the waistband of her skirt provocatively. Many have taken to social media to slam Sekhar Master, calling his choreography indecent and urging him to retire.

Social media platforms are flooded with criticism, with users accusing the choreographer of promoting obscenity in the name of dance. Some comments call for a ban on such songs, blaming not only Sekhar Master but also filmmakers and producers for encouraging this kind of content. One Instagram user angrily stated, “Sekhar Master, please retire. This is not dance but pure vulgarity!” Others have described the choreography as shameless objectification rather than artistic expression.

This is not the first time Sekhar Master has faced backlash. His previous work, including Dabidi Dibidi from Bhagavanth Kesari and Peelings from Pushpa 2, was also criticized for being inappropriate. The Sitar song from Mr. Bachchan, featuring Ravi Teja and Bhagyashri Borse, was similarly slammed for its suggestive moves.

With growing public disapproval, many believe Sekhar Master should reconsider his approach to choreography. Critics argue that Tollywood must focus on creating more respectful and artistic dance sequences instead of resorting to controversial steps that attract negative attention.
