'6 Teens' music composer turns a filmmaker with a pan-India project

Nowadays, every filmmaker is coming up with a story that has universal appeal. So is the upcoming movie titled Risk which is based on the true events. According to the makers, the film is a sequel for the movie ‘6 Teens’. Music director Ghantadi Krishna, who composed music for ‘6 Teens’ is producing and directing this film ‘Risk’. The movie will be released across India in Hindi, Tamil and Kannada languages.

The film’s first single ‘SogasukeSogasu’, which was sung by ace singer Sid Sriram, was launched at a event held on Saturday in Hyderabad, under the Aditya Music label. The event was graced by senior filmmaker-film producer MS Raju, Yalamanchili Ravi shankar of Mythri Movies, actor Aditya Om, Uppal MLA Bethi Subhash Reddy, Telangana BC commission chairman V Ramakrishna Rao, sociologist D Kumara Swami, Raavi Suresh Reddy, Gaddam Ravi, Vijay Varma, Director RK and others from the film team.

The Telugu version “Sogasuke Sogasu” was released by MS Raju. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded Krishna’s melodious music composition for the movie. “I appreciate the director’s confidence for moving into film production as well as direction from the field of music keeping in view the risks involved in movie making,” he added.

The Telugu motion poster was released by Yalamanchili Ravisankar of Mythri Movies. Recalling his days in college, he explained how sensational Krishna’s famous song ‘DevuduVaramandiste’ was in those days. He appreciated the director’s efforts to make the movie pan-India by releasing it in four languages. The Hindi lyrical “ItniKhubsurat ‘ was released by hero Aditya Om who reminisced about his work with the director. He appreciated the director’s vision to connect the film to the younger generations.

Tamil version “Azhaguke Azhagu’ was released by the MLA BetiSubhash Reddy. He lauded Krishna’s courage to release movies after facing setbacks during the pandemic. He appreciated the hero Sandeep for his acting skills and wished that more people from Telangana join the film fraternity and achieve success. The Kannada version “SogasikeMerugu” was released by the Telangana BC commission’s chairman V Ramakrishna Rao who admired the director’s focus and the skill with such the movie was made.

Speaking to the media, the film’s director-producer Ghantadi Krishna thanked everyone for their appreciation and blessings. He said people like Raavi Suresh Reddy, Gaddam Ravi, Mahesh Kale and Gurram Narsimhulu encouraged him and gave him the courage to release the film as a pan-India flick although he has no prior experience. Speaking of the film team, Krishna praised the experience and the efforts of the technical team especially the DOP Jagadish Kumar, editor Shiva Sharvani and stunt master Shankar.

The film also features Sania Thakur, Zoya Jhaveri, TarunSagar, Arjun Thakur, Vishvesh, Anish Kuruvilla, Rajeev Kanakala, Kadambari Kiran, Duvvasi Mohan, Tarzan, TNR, Jabardasth team– Apparao, Rajamouli, Ramu and among others.
