Usually, nothing succeeds like success in Tollywood. But, success is rare to come. Hence people have a lot of superstitions like not working with a director or hero who just gave a flop. But, what if people with a record of flops team up?
Hero Ravi Teja, who has three back-to-back flops, Ram Talluri, whose Nela Ticket just tanked and VI Anand, whose Okka Kshanam flopped, are teaming up to make another film. The film is tentatively titled Disco Raja. This is touted to be a revenge story. Already the combo is a flop one and no one likes to watch a revenge story, especially after the disaster of Amar Akbar Anthony. But, Raviteja seems to like only such stories. He is not willing to experiment as both his experimental films – Naa Autograph and Sambho Siva Sambho failed at the box-office. He wants tried at tested formula only.
He is said to be doing this project to compensate Ram Talluri for the loss of Nela Ticket. But, the wags tell us that Raviteja has not compromised on the remuneration part.
