Alanti Sitralu Movie Review

Some small films are coming out on Zee 5 one after the other and next in line is Alanti Sitralu. Read our review to find out if the film has any juice in it or not.

Plot

The film has four stories based on the lives of Pallavi (Shweta Parashar), Yamini (Tanvi Akaansha), Yash (Ajay Kumar Kathuvar), Raag (Yash Puri), and Dilip (Prawin Yendamuri). Each of them is connected and has a dark part. How all this is showcased and how things unfold forms the story.

Performances

Ajay Kumar Kathuvar and Yash Puri are the best of the lot. They get sensitive characters and do good in their roles. Prawin Yendamuri is also okay in his role. He is good in emotional scenes; although looks-wise, he reminds Naveen Chandra. Swetha Parashar and Tanvi Aakansha also do a decent job in their supporting roles.

Analysis

The film starts well as things are set up in a good manner. But the entire first half is just used to introduce the worlds of the four characters. This takes a lot of time and the film hardly enters the main setup.

Upon this, the new star cast does not help matters much. Their inexperience is shown in every scene and this is where things go for a toss as the director’s point is not conveyed properly.

The different stories are interlinked uniquely. There is very little direct interaction between them and this makes things restless. The world of this film is good but the actors and narration do not make much impact on the audience.

Bottom Line – Actors let down the narrative
