Alia Bhatt quits RRR? Here’s the truth. Over the past few days, talk has been that Alia may drop out of her much-awaited Tollywood debut, RRR amidst coronavirus lockdown. Since she would be joining the shoot of Sanjy Leela Bhansali in the latter part of the year, she has to reshuffle her dates. And as she has a cameo role in RRR unlike in Bhansali’s where plays full-fledged role, buzz has it that Alia would back out of Rajamouli’s film.
However, the team has brushed off the rumours stating, “Alia is working for RRR and she will be joining the sets of the film in the month of May. 75 percent of the film has been completed already and Alia plays the key role in the remaining 25 percent. The film is shaping up really well and makers are happy with it.”
Made on whopping budget of RS 300 crores, Ram Charan plays the role Alluri Seetharamaraju and Jr NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem. Set in Pre-Independence era, the fictional drama has Olivia Morris who will be seen playing the female lead opposite Jr NTR. It as first cannoned to get release in July 2020. But due to VFX and other works, the team gave new release date -Januray 2021. However, with corona virus pandemic, it is to be seen if the makers would release the film on promised date or will again announce a fresh date.
