Amigos is a film that Kalyan Ram was eagerly looking forward to as he played a triple role for the very first time in his career. The trailers caught on quite well all over and the film released yesterday with a good buzz.
The film had a solo release at the box office and as no other big film were coming out with Amigos, this gave the film an undue advantage at the box office. There were a few other small films but they did not create any issues.
But sadly, the film has failed to create any sensation and started on a very dull note. It made only two crores which is very less. It needs to make 13 crores to be in the safe zone.
Ashika Ranganath plays the female lead in this film which has Mythri Movie Makers as the producers. Even on the weekend the occupancy is quite low sadly.
