Anil Kapoor will be seen Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga which also stars his daughter Sonam Kapoor. The actor has also a donned hat of a producer. Ask him about the producer’s job, Anil says he finds it tough, who says, “Producing is definitely tough”.
Anil also stresses that just because he is a producer doesn’t mean he will get cast in his production. “Casting is very important… Even in my own company, I do get rejected. As a producer, I am conscious of my casting. So, first comes the content. It’s not the other way round that you think about a star or an actor or build content. We make content go for the story and build everything around it,” says Anil.
Anil ventured into production with “Badhaai Ho Badhaai” released in 2002. He then went on to produce, My Wife’s Murder, Gandhi, My Father, Aisha and Fanney Khan.
