Ranbir Kapoor’s latest movie ‘Animal’ has stormed the Indian Box Office, marking an impressive achievement within just four days of its release. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the gangster action drama has already soared past the ₹240-crore milestone and is poised to surpass the ₹300-crore mark.

On its fourth day (Monday) in theatres, ‘Animal’ amassed a staggering ₹39.9 crore at the Indian box office, maintaining a consistent and robust performance since its debut on December 1. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film recorded a net collection of ₹241.43 crore in India within the initial four days, affirming its strong box office presence.

The movie’s success trajectory became evident early on, with a remarkable opening day collection of ₹63.8 crore. This momentum continued through the weekend, accumulating a total of ₹137.73 crore by the end of the first three days. The film’s Hindi version alone garnered an impressive ₹176.58 crore, despite receiving an ‘A’ certification from the Central Board of Film Certification, indicating its appeal primarily to an adult audience.

Notably, trade analyst Sumit Kadel suggested a potential Dhoom franchise revival with Ranbir Kapoor following the actor’s exceptional performance in ‘Animal.’ Meanwhile, industry stalwart Taran Adarsh lauded the film’s success using terms like “tsunami” and “hurricane,” emphasizing its box office dominance.

The global reception has been equally monumental, with the movie grossing a whopping ₹356 crore worldwide, as announced by the production banner T-Series. Featuring an ensemble cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri, ‘Animal’ transcends language barriers, releasing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

With a runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes, ‘Animal’ stands as one of the lengthiest Indian films. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has carved its place as a blockbuster, captivating audiences across diverse demographics with its gripping narrative and stellar performances.
