Anushka’s role is revealed in Sye Raa. The actress would be playing a warrior role again. She plays a brave warrior alongside Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy against the British forces. Before finalising Anushka, the makers had considered many prominent names from the likes of Priyanka Chopra, however, they have narrowed down to Anushka. The actress gave a screen test and was finalised or a narrator’s role. Anushka has a small role but a very pivotal one as she is the one who introduces the character of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. She will also appear during the interval episode.
