Today, Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan unveiled the much-awaited inaugural list of candidates from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Janasena alliance. This joint declaration provides a comprehensive update on the allocation of seats within the alliance.

Chandrababu revealed that in the initial roster, the TDP would vie for 94 MLA seats, while Janasena would contest 24 MLA seats along with 3 MP seats. He assured that the distribution of seats, factoring in the inclusion of the BJP in the alliance, would be resolved shortly.

Addressing his party members, Pawan Kalyan stressed the importance of concerted efforts to facilitate the seamless transfer of votes from Janasena to TDP in constituencies where Janasena is not fielding candidates. He emphasized that Janasena’s primary objective is not to secure numerous seats but to target those with the highest probability of success, citing a striking 98% success rate in the 24 designated constituencies.

The initial list comprises a total of 118 MLA seats, leaving 57 MLA seats pending announcement, pending the BJP’s alignment with the coalition.

Both Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan reiterated that the alliance transcends individual party interests, emphasizing its overarching goal of advancing the welfare and development of Andhra Pradesh.
