The much-anticipated return of AR Rahman, the Oscar-winning music composer, to the Telugu film industry has been confirmed. Rahman has officially signed on to compose for Ram Charan’s 16th film (#RC16), marking his collaboration with the talented actor.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who made a sensational debut with “Uppena,” the untitled film is set in the backdrop of the Uttarandhra region and revolves around a sports drama storyline.
In this film, Ram Charan will be seen sporting a unique and distinct look. Additionally, there have been discussions about considering Janhvi Kapoor for the female lead role, as previously reported by Telugucinema.com.
While Rahman has composed music for various Telugu films in the past, including “Nani” starring Mahesh Babu, “Gangmaster,” and Pawan Kalyan’s “Komaram Puli,” Buchi Babu specifically chose Rahman for this project as he desired a special kind of background score.
