Janhvi Kapoor and half-brother Arjun Kapoor fun chat with Karan Johar on Koffee With Karan took an unsolicited trolling. While none would have wondered in their wildest of dreams that a fun episode could land one of their family members in trouble. Arjun Kapoor sister and Janhvi’s half-sister Anshula has been getting rape threats, for a weird reason.
Arjun Kapoor Hits Back For Trolling Anshula Kapoor
It so happened that during one of the segment, Karan asked Janhvi and Arjun to call up anyone from Kapoor family and made them say, “Hey Karan, What’s Up?” to win the hamper. When Janhvi called up Anshula, Arjun blackmailed her stating if she wants him to return home then she shouldn’t say. Subsequently, Arjun won the episode.
And soon all hell broke loose when netizens question Janhvi asking why Anshuladidn’tt help her. Though she said that Anhsula couldn’t hear what she was trying to say, her reply was not heard by netzines. During one fo the show hosted by Priyanka Chopra, Janhvi said, “You want to protect the people in your life. Like for example my sister actually just recently got trolled on social media. She did something silly on Koffee with Karan and started getting like rape threats and stuff. And it was just weird to me. As people are faceless on social media, they feel they can have opinions that sometimes cross a moral line. So when I put stuff that’s personal up on social media, I do think of that too. I feel protective towards them… what people might say about them or about my equation with them. You tend to be guarded.”
Meanwhile, infuriated by the rape threats to her sister, Arjun Kapoor tweeted stating, “omething I assumed was an absolute non issue on Koffee with Karan has escalated into @anshulakapoor being abused & I can’t be bothered by protocol anymore. F**k all those trolls who wish harm to my sister. I hope ur mom or sister never have to go thru what u have put us thru…”
