‘Veera Simha Reddy’ is off to a blistering start. Setting cash registers ringing, the USA premiere shows alone earned the makers Mythri Movie Makers a whopping money of 708,472 dollars. The number is twice the tally of ‘Akhanda’.
Balayya has touched a new milestone. ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ is Balayya’s best film ever in the USA market to achieve such a feat.
Apart from the premier shows, makers are learnt to have recovered a major chunk of investment on the opening day itself. ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ is likely to reach the breakeven mark by Friday, it is presumed.
Starring Balayya and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, the Gopichand Malineni directorial is running with packed houses in all the centres in the domestic market. The film also features Honey Rose, Duniya Vijay, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in prominent roles.
