Big Surprise Twist for Yash and Ranbir Fans in Ramayana
The film Ramayana is one of the biggest projects in Indian cinema. It has a star-studded cast, which has created a lot of excitement among fans. One surprising news is that Yash, famous for his hit movie KGF, will play the role of Ravana in this epic film. Recently, shooting started for intense battle scenes between Yash’s Ravana and another character named Vidyutjihva.

Interestingly, Yash’s character Ravana will only appear briefly in the first part of the film. The actor Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram, has already finished shooting for the first part. But here is a twist: Ravana and Ram will not meet or fight until the climax of the story, meaning their big battle will happen at the very end. This has led some fans to call the film a “slow burn,” as important moments are delayed, while others think this is a strategy to stretch the story across multiple films.
Another big name, Sunny Deol, will play Hanuman and start filming the second part of the movie in August. The movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and is said to be the most expensive film ever made in India, with a budget of about 835 crore rupees. It is expected to be released in October 2027.
With all this hype, fans are hoping the film will live up to their high expectations without getting lost in the excitement.
