The ashes of Sridevi in an urn was immersed in the sea off Rameswaram in Chennai on March 3 by Boney Kapoor. A picture of this is doing the rounds which shows, Boney along with Janhvi, Khushi and a pundit.
The veteran actress died in Dubai in a hotel on the night of February 24 and her cause of death was declared as “accidental drowning”. Her mortal remains were brought to Mumbai on February 27 in a private Jet sent by Anil Ambani. Before Sridevi’s cremation took place, her mortal remains clad in her favourite red kaanjeevaram saree and a gold jewellery was placed at Celebration Sports Club.
Boney shared a heartfelt message through Sridevi’s Twitter handle and likewise Janhvi too remembered her late mother be penning a heart-wrenching letter.
