DD Next Level, the fourth film in the Dhilluku Dhuddu series, was released with high expectations. However, it did not perform well at the box office. While some viewers enjoyed its unique mix of horror and comedy, others were not impressed, leading to mixed reviews.

The movie also sparked controversy when a song from the film was criticised for allegedly disrespecting the holy shrine of Tirupati. Despite the issues, the film is now set for an OTT release. It will be available to stream on Zee5 from June 13. The streaming platform announced this on their official X (formerly Twitter) account along with the film’s poster. They wrote, “This isn’t a horror movie. It’s a horror movie inside a horror movie. 2025’s Biggest Horror Comedy Blast #DDNextLevel will be streaming from June 13th on ZEE5!”

The story follows a smart and sarcastic film critic who unexpectedly gets trapped inside a strange horror movie world—similar to the kind he often mocks. This eerie world is ruled by a ghost who was once a failed filmmaker. The spirit now seeks revenge and justice through supernatural ways.

The film shows how the critic tries to find clues, face spooky situations, and survive the horror around him. In doing so, he also begins to change his own negative attitude.

DD Next Level features actors like Santhanam, Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Geethika Tiwary, and Yashika Aanand. It is directed and written by S Prem Anand and produced by Venkat Boyanapalli and Arya under Niharika Entertainment and The Show People banners. Music is composed by OfRo.

Fans can now catch the film on Zee5 starting June 13.
