Jr NTR’s films have changed over the years and his success rate too has gone up. Beginning from ‘Temper,’ his career has entered a big league and his market value has doubled. ‘Janatha Garage’ took his career graph several notches ahead. Naturally, there were lot of expectations over ‘Aravinda Sametha.’
There were several things going in his favour. It has a great director and the film had enough pre-release hype. It was released during the Dasara vacations. The talk was favourable. So, It had all the trappings of a hit film.
But, the film may not break the non-Bahubali records. Even notching up Rs 100 crore mark seems to be a difficult thing. Now, there are doubts if the film could break even at least. For the break-even, the film needs to collect Rs 91 crore. Till now, the collections have reached Rs 83 crore and it needs another Rs 5 crore at least to get back the investments.
With the graph plummeting at a quick rate, on Wednesday, the film could barely collect Rs 20 lakh . This weekend has a low-buzz release of Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu. So, Aravinda Sametha might have another week’s run. Let’s hope it gets break even by the weekend.
