DYK Allu Arjun turned down THIS major blockbuster
Allu Arjun, the iconic Telugu actor, has delivered numerous superhit films throughout his career, from Gangotri and Arya to Pushpa 1 and Pushpa 2. These films have made him a household name, and his journey as a pan-India superstar has been remarkable. However, there was a time when Allu Arjun turned down a film that went on to become a massive hit.
The movie in question is Bhadra, directed by Boyapati Srinu. This was Boyapati’s debut directorial venture, starring Ravi Teja and Meera Jasmine, and it created a huge buzz. Initially, Boyapati Srinu pitched the story to Allu Arjun, who really liked the concept. However, Allu Arjun was already committed to another project, Arya, and felt that working on Bhadra after Arya would cause delays in his schedule.

As a result, he declined the film but introduced Boyapati to producer Dil Raju. Boyapati pitched the story to Dil Raju, who liked it, and the movie eventually got made with Ravi Teja in the lead. Bhadra went on to become a major success, and Dil Raju thanked Allu Arjun for his role in making the project happen.
Later, Allu Arjun teamed up with Boyapati for Sarrainodu, which turned out to be another successful collaboration. Despite rejecting Bhadra, Allu Arjun’s decision to help the film find its way to the big screen played a crucial role in the movie’s success. His contribution, though indirect, proved to be beneficial for both the film and the producer, solidifying his status as not just a superstar but a true industry supporter.
