Ex TDP MLA Sugunamma tasted a bitter experience as unidentified miscreants attacked her house with beer bottles. While no harm was caused to the former MLA and her family members, the glass panes of the windows were damaged.
The family members have lodged a complaint with the police. Speaking about her political journey, served as the MLA of Tirupati Assembly Constituency during the TDP rule until 2019. In 2019 elections, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy won by a margin of around 600 votes contesting against Sugunamma. While Bhumana secured 80,544 votes, Sugunamma received 79,836 votes. Jana Sena Candidate Chadalawada Krishna Murthy got just around 12,000 votes.
