Venkat Prabhu’s much-awaited film “GOAT,” starring Thalapathy Vijay, is set to hit theaters on September 5. With the post-production phase wrapping up, fans eagerly anticipate this high-budget drama. Recently, YouTuber Abhishek Raja, who worked as an assistant to Prabhu, shared some interesting insights about the film.
According to Raja, Vijay has already viewed the final cut of “GOAT” and was very pleased with the result. He was so impressed that he hugged Venkat Prabhu and mentioned that he might have considered another collaboration if he hadn’t decided to retire from acting. This indicates that Vijay may be second-guessing his choice to transition into politics after his next film, “Thalapathy 69,” which he announced would be his last.
While Vijay’s satisfaction with “GOAT” is apparent, not all reactions have been positive. The film’s third single, “Spark,” composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, failed to meet fans’ expectations. The song faced criticism, especially for the de-aging technique used on Vijay’s face, which many found unconvincing and one of the worst uses of the technology to date.
In “GOAT,” Vijay portrays both a father and a son, necessitating the use of de-aging effects to depict his younger self. Despite some setbacks, “GOAT,” also known as “The Greatest Of All Time,” will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi in September aiming to capture a wide audience.
