Finally, director Harish Shankar’s wait for a film project seems to have been over. He now has a project. But this Jigarthanda remake has two main characters. So, right casting balance is key to this project. Mega hero Varun Tej is doing one character.
Harish Shankar ropes in Sri Vishnu in Valmiki Movie
The second character is that of Siddharth in Tamil original. Harish has reportedly zeroed in on Sri Vishnu to play this role. If it’s Sri Vishnu, even Varun Tej may not have any objections. Sri Vishnu does not have any hits to his credit of late.
The film is being made under the banner of 14 Reels Plus. Once the two main characters are fixed, then the director can go scouting for the heroine. If everything goes according to plan, the shooting could begin soon after Varun Tej is back from his US vacation.
