Actor Jai who made his debut in Bagavathi as a character artiste has come a long way by being a leading hero. Jai has thanked Thalapathy Vijay for his advice which made him the lead hero now. Jai played the role of the younger brother of Vijay in Bagavathi. However, the film didn’t fare well at the box -office. Subsequently, Jai approached filmmaker for roles of the same, however, it was Vijay who asked him to stay away to avoid type cast.
After few years down the lane, Jai got his big break through the movie Chennai 600028 in 2007. Jai reminisced about this in an interview. On the work front, he has Rough Patch,Party, Neeya 2 and Malayalam film Maduraraja.
