Hyderabad Metro sets another record!

With the ensuing TSRTC indefinite strike, the Hyderabad Metro Rail has created a new record as over 3.65 lakh people travelled on a single day. With more number of footfalls, the Metro Rail in fact ran from  5 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday

City residents are resorting to the metro due to the RTC strike. Metro set a new record for buses not turning In just one day, 3.65 lakh people travelled. The trains ran from 5 am to 12:30 am on Saturday. In fact, due to the heavy surge, the officials made the Metro frequency availability for every five minutes to their patronage.  The Metro officials said that generally  2.5 lakh people travel every day, but following the strike of TSRTC 3.65 lakh footfalls came in on a single day. If the indefinite strike continues, officials expect that fatre the festival the number of people commuting is likely to increase.
