Jagapati Babu’s warrior look from his upcoming Hindi flick Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior is doing the rounds on social media. This will be Jagapati Babu’s maiden Bollywood film which has Ajay Devgn in it. The picture shows Jagapati Babu sporting weapons etc which suggests to be a period film and the actor’s transformation is quite impressive. Apparently, the actor is essaying as Maratha warrior Shelar Mama. Take a look at the viral picture:
The film is helmed by Om Raut where Ajay Devgn is essaying the titular role Tanaji Malusare, and also has Kajol on board. Interestingly, Jagapthi Babu has opined in an interview that he connects with Devgn many a time and always wished to collaborate with him. Notably, the two stars have done the English romantic drama French Kiss in Telugu and Hindi respectively. While it released in South as Dongaata and Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha in Hindi.
Ajay on his twitter handle in July introduced to his character. He posted, “He fought for his People, his Soil & his King Chhatrapati Shivaji. The unsung warrior of glorious Indian history, Subedar Taanaji Malusare.” The film is said to have gone on floors in August and would release in 2019.
