The re-shoot of Tamil film Varma, reake of Arjun Reddy, has sent the entire industry into shock. As the production company E4 ruled that it was unhappy with filmmaker Bala’s version Varma they have planned to re shoot it. Now, the big question is lingering is who will be directing Varma and which actress will take replace Megha Chowdhury for the re-shoot. The latest buzz is rife that Gautham Menon has been approached and actress Janhvi Kapoor name is doing the rounds.
“We at E4 Entertainment are not at all happy with the final version handed over to us and due to various creative and other differences, we have decided not to release this version. Instead, we will start afresh, and shoot a new Tamil version of “Arjun Reddy” with Dhruv as the main lead by staying true to the soul and intention of the original,” said the production house.
Meanwhile, Megha Chowdhury, who came to know about the development said, “I’m completely unaware of this. Today is my birthday (February 7), and this information is news to me. I will talk to the concerned people soon”.
