Karthi and Rakul Preet starrer Dev is all set for release on February 14. The film is inspired by true events from filmmaker Rajath Ravishankar who is helming the project. Throwing light over this, during the pre-release event, Karthi said, “For every five years, there will be a change in generation, love and the way we talk and behave with our parents. For the current times, how love is dealt is shown in this film like for example, we can meet a girl who is in New York also. This element is shown in the Dev.”
Karthi, who had worked with Rakul previously had suggested her name to the filmmaker. Thanking Karthi over this, Rakul opened up about her character in the film. “I play the role of Meghana, a feminist, strong, independent and self-driven woman,” she said.
