Keerthy Suresh about Samantha:
Keerthy Suresh who recently made her Bollywood debut with Baby John, co-starring Varun Dhawan, shared that Samantha Ruth Prabhu played an important role in her entry into the Hindi film industry.
Baby John is a remake of the Tamil film Theri which starred Thalapathy Vijay and Samantha.
In an interview, Keerthy revealed that Samantha suggested her name to the makers of Baby Joh which helped her land the role.
Keerthy expressed her gratitude mentioning that Varun Dhawan also informed her about Samantha’s recommendation.
Keerthy admitted that she was initially nervous about taking on the role in the Hindi remake. She said, “Samantha probably had me in mind when they were casting, and Varun confirmed it. I can’t thank her enough for thinking I was right for the role.”
She also shared that after watching the Baby John trailer, Samantha posted on Instagram saying she would share it only with Keerthy, which Keerthy found very sweet.
Keerthy added that playing this character in Hindi was a special experience for her. She couldn’t have asked for a better debut and appreciated Samantha’s support which made the journey even more meaningful.
Recently, rumors circulated that Keerthy might quit acting, especially since she has only two confirmed projects, Revolver Rita and Kannivedi. However, these rumors remain unverified, and Keerthy has not commented on her future in the film industry.
