Komaram Bheem’s grandson offended by ‘Ramaraju for Bheem’

Director Rajamouli introduced ‘Komaram Bheem’ from his film RRR to the audiences recently with the release of a special teaser named ‘Ramaraju for Bheem.’ The teaser showcased Jr NTR as Komaram Bheem with a voice-over of Ram Charan. The teaser received appreciation from movie buffs, but it also created a controversy. NTR is seen with a Muslim cap in the teaser, and it is the reason for the controversy. Some Hindutwa organizations and the Adivasi community people are objecting the same.

Komaram Bheem is a freedom fighter who raised his voice against the Muslim rulers. Komaram Bheem’s grandson Sone Rao too, joined his voice to the ongoing controversy. Sone Rao was offended by the teaser, and he felt that Rajamouli consulted his family before making the film. Sone Rao asks the film unit to take the video down and re-upload it without the objectionable visual.
As of now, the film unit did not respond to the controversy. DVV Danayya is the film’s producer. MM Keeravani is the music director. The film’s shoot is currently in progress.
