Director Krish Jagarlamudi for first time is collaborating with Pawan Kalyan. Powerstar’s PSPK 27 is tentatively titled Virupaksha, a period drama, which is based on the theft of Kohinoor diamond also has Bollywood beauty Jacqueline Fernandez. The film shoot is yet to resume as many are waiting for the pandemic to subside. Meanwhile, the much talked about film will only have two songs. Yes, you read it right.
MM Keeravani is scoring the music and sources have said that the music will be highlight of the film. Interestingly, the period drama will have only two tracks and the veteran music composer has carefully curated the music that will be an amalgamation of classical and contemporary beats. Backed by AM Ratnam the film will have multi-lingual release.
Pawan Kalyan also has Vakeel Saab, remake of Hindi film Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. Helmed by Venu Sriram, the film has wrapped up 90% shoot and the remaining scenes will be shot once normalcy restores back. The court-drama has Anjali, Nivetha Thomas, and Ananya Nagalla in a pivotal role including Prakash Raj. On the other side, JanaSena chief will also be seen teaming up with Gabbar Singh director Harish Shankar for PSPK28.
