The excitement surrounding Allu Arjun’s birthday was not just about celebrating another year of the stylish star’s life. It was also about the much-anticipated teaser release of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. This teaser, which dropped on Allu Arjun’s special day, sent shockwaves across social media, leaving fans and celebrities alike in awe.

One particular scene that stole the spotlight in the teaser was the Tirupati Gangamma Jaathara Sequence. Ever since its unveiling, this sequence has been the talk of the town. Delving deeper into the making of this highly hyped scene unveils a tale of grandeur and meticulous planning.

As per the reports, director Sukumar spared no expense in bringing this sequence to life. Filmed over a period of 30+ days at a specially constructed set inside Allu Studios, Gandipet, Hyderabad, it is being said that the Jaathara sequence was crafted with lot dedication. What made it truly remarkable was not just the duration of the shoot but also the attention to detail. From the intricate makeup to the elaborate lighting setups, every aspect of the scene was carefully crafted to perfection. To capture the essence of the Jaathara festival in all its glory, a special Mocobot camera was said to have imported from Mumbai, adding to the production cost.

Speaking of costs, the Jaathara sequence alone reportedly incurred expenses exceeding ₹30 crores. This hefty price tag includes everything from set construction to equipment rentals and manpower. When considering in additional expenses such as actor remunerations, pre-visualization, visual effects, and post-production work, the overall budget for this sequence soared to an estimated ₹50+ crores.

However, such whopping spending is not uncommon in the world of cinema, especially for a high-profile project like ‘Pushpa 2’. With a reported budget of 500 crores, this sequel is poised to be one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. Building upon the success of its predecessor, ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, which amassed over 100 crores in Hindi alone, expectations are sky-high for this Telugu-language action drama.

Apart from Allu Arjun, the film boasts a stellar cast including Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj, each playing pivotal roles in the narrative.

Fans eagerly anticipating the release of ‘Pushpa 2’ can mark their calendars for August 15, 2024. The film is set to hit theaters in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam.
