Ilayathalapathy Vijay starring Master released yesterday worldwide. The film released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. Unfortunately, the film did not match up to the expectations of the audience. Master could not even impress the fans of Lokesh Kanagaraj who created a unique name for himself with the film Khaithi. The failure of Master once again proves the fact that the stars should let the young filmmakers work as per their style and not add any forceful cinematic highs for the sake of fans.
Dealing star hero is certainly a massive task for any young director. Lokesh Kanagaraj wants to score a hit with a mass commercial cinema. The director already hinted that the film will have stuff that the fans will like. However, they did not shape well in the film.’
Both the actors Vijay and Vijay Setupathi have given their best for the film but the director failed in treating the film in a gripping manner. The unnecessary scenes that were added to the plot test the patience of the audiences. The critics and regular movie lovers expressed the same view after watching the film. Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next film is ‘Vikram’ with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan.
