The other day Megastar Chiranjeevi heaped praises on ‘Dasara’ director Srikanth Odela. The film already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. The latest news is that Srikanth found access to meet Chiru recently.
It is learnt that the director narrated a line to the Megastar. Chiru assured Srikanth of taking up the project soon only if he gets convinced with the full script. Srikanth Odela is doing his second film with producer Sudhakar Cherukuri who produced ‘Dasara’.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, who has signed a handful of movies after the debacle with ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, looks like he is confused about what project to take up next. Chiru is currently doing ‘Bhola Shankar’. He was supposed to do a film with director Venky Kudumula, but he was not unconvinced with the story and put it aside.
Chiru will be completing ‘Bhola Shankar’ in another two months. But there are no specific stories that he wants to go about after ‘Bhola Shankar’.
But Chiru has lined up too many options in the coming days. Writer/producer BVS Ravi, Kalyan Krishna and Prasanna Kumar Bejawada are making plans to convince the Megastar to work on a project under the direction of Malidi Vasishtha (of Bimbisara fame).
They’re working on a full script after narrating the storyline to Chiru.
